Have the test in the morning.

    Any tips/ advice?

I won't be nervous but I am still a bit unsure of indication on round abouts?

example 1. Roundabout has 3 exits, first exit is straight ahead (12 o'clock) should I indacate?

example 2. 2nd exit is too the right (2 o'clock) I approach in left lane but should I indacte right ?

Passing parked cars on the road, should I indicate?

There is a short video from the RSA on roundabouts on their website but I cannot post it as a new user.

I'm not an instructor or anything but if the exit you want to take is before or on 12 O'clock you go into the left lane on approaching the roundabout. You indicate left before you take your exit to show you are going to exit at the next exit. (I don't think I am being very clear here). It is important not too indicate too early (i.e. before the correct exit) as it is misleading to motorists trying to enter the roundabout.

If the exit is after 12 o'clock you go into the right lane on approaching the roundabout and indicate right at first. You then indicate left before the exit you want to leave the roundabout on.

The number of the exit is irrelevant, it is the position of it that is relevant. If your exit is left or straight ahead, approach the roundabout in the left lane, if the exit is to the right approach from the right lane.

A lot of people don't know how to use the roundabouts so might either not indicate correctly or cut across you if they entered the roundabout from the wrong lane.

Oops forgot to say, sometimes there are roadmarkings that tell you what lane to go into. What I wrote above is the general rule for roundabouts, but at specific roundabouts with roadmarkings you have to follow the roadmarkings. Most roundabouts I have come across don't have roadmarkings.

I personally would indicate if overtaking a parked car, but once I am moved out I switch off the indicator (as otherwise someone might think you are intending to do a right turn).
