    folks,

    I am toying with the idea of build on a new kitchen.
    I wouldn't be interested in planning or anything so it would be 400sq ft max.
    We would like a pitched roof design in fairness with the gable in glass, but if there is a lot to save by going flat I certainly wouldn't rule it out.

    So knowing that little, can anyone give a rough figure of what that would cost to builders finish ?

    Also, our house has suspended floors which I hate and are cold. I would like to look into filling them in and putting under floor heating in, what re opinions here on that idea ?
