Fallout 3

    So with the release of Fallout 4 around a year or so away (hopefully) I saw Fallout 3 Game of the Year Addition) on Steam. It was only 5 euro so bought it. Does anyone have any suggestions on mods (bit of a newn so also how too install them) and anything I should do first.

    Have you read this somewhere? The creators have said it will be at least after 2016 before a new Fallout is released.

    No I had heard a few weeks ago they have the name for the website reistered Boston Mayhem or something like that. But you could be right about 2016.

    Pick it up myself last week. There are mods needed to get it to run smoothly on Win 7/8. So far ive have very little issues..

    I really wish this would work on PC without crashing every 5 minutes :,( had to buy on PS 3 in the end.

    I was hopeful you had some insider info there.

    The game requires Games For Windows Live to be installed and running for the game to run. It's an old and terrible type of DRM.

    The game has issues when it tries to run more than two threads, which it will do and will make the game crash if you are running a quad or higher core processor or a dual core with multi-threading. Fix here http://steamcommunity.com/app/22370/discussions/0/846941710314682539/

    Yeah that was happening to me too, google Fallout 3 crashing and you should find workarounds for it.
