I posted about this before, and although a mod tried to help, it was never resolved, and nobody else replied, so hopefully somebody will be able to help this time I have no icons above the text box where I type out a post, and additionally, when I try to edit a post, I am brought to a blank page, with absolutely nothing on…

It's a known issue for new users related to the links restrictions. It'll pass when you hit the 50 posts mark.
