It's handy to have an eye in the sky so being as how I can't find a frikkin' RC helicopter section on IE boards I've buzzed one on here instead. :)

Basically if you haven't flown an rc heli before you need to get a cheap one to learn the ropes. Start off small, then work your way up from there.

The best of the best for keeping an eye on things is the Quad, Hexa and Octocopters. The first two are much more affordable though, the Octocopter is heavy lift though.

Cheapo rc helicopters are 4 channel which means controls are bit less finer and your forward/backwards is often the tail rotor.

What about you folks out there? Have you got yourself a drone yet? Get them now before nanny state UK and Eire ban them! :)

For moving up the food chain this bit of kit is next:

It's a bit similar to the quality of the rc vulture heli but with a video camera built in.

This, or rather the FPV as its called officially is what gives you the 'drone eye view' of things.
