Where would I get a convex traffic mirror?

I have been looking on ebay but they are stupidly expensive for what essentially is just a convex mirror in a plastic frame, and that's before shipping costs are included. Does anyone know where I could get my hands on one for handy money? I just moved house and my driveway is on an extremely dangerous blind bend. I need one asap.

I know my local Co-op sells them too, but they are quite pricey there too.

I would need one about a foot wide to get a good view. I will have a look in co-op. Have been to all the hardware shops around, no luck though.

Any decent quality mirror that'll survive the weather seems to be pretty expensive.

Many glass/mirror suppliers do perspex mirrors, just like real mirrors, but made from perspex. A square one, about 12"x 12" should do the trick, fixed to a frame, with a slight curve in it, giving the desired effect. The "frame" could be a simple "T" shape, with a fixing at each end of the crossbar, slightly shorter in width than the mirror itself. This would create the curve needed.

I'm in the same position and €100 was the cheapest option available, so I began looking at alternatives. I have an old perspex rear view mirror from a bus which I intend to stick on a pole for the moment. Even a few seconds advance warning is better than none at all.

OP are you looking for a mirror to stick across the road from your entrance, or on the car itself?
