How long is a piece of string?

(Answer is probably yes, but it depends on length and wattage)

Quick question . will 1.5mm2 3 core SWA do for a string of garden lights ?

    Need more info,
How long is the run ie. how far is the furthest light from the fuse board,
How many lights will be on the run'
What is the wattage of each individual light.

Thanks guys ,, l've 5core SWA going out to driveway pillars .. 35 metres from the fuse board out . there is one outdoor socket powered from it at the moment .
From the SWA at each pillar I want to connect up:
    1 . small pillar lanterns ,
2 . from each pillar I want to run 20 \30 metres of 3 core SWA to power 3 bollards on each side of driveway.

I haven't really looked at any bollards yet , only a couple of fumagalli 500 and 800 mm ones and all I know is they take e27 bulbs.

The only reason I want to put the 3core down now is because there are shrub beds going in and it would be easier bury the SWA now rather than later !

If a larger Sqm would work better its as easy put that down
