Bit of an important game for City given the other results in the league.

Hart, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Mangala, Clichy, Fernando, Yaya Toure, Jesus Navas, Nasri, Milner, Aguero

Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, Coleman, Barry, Besic, Mirallas, Lukaku, Eto'o

Aguero looks in a bit of bother.

It doesn't look good for Aguero.

Asked this in the Everton thread but Coleman is playing on the right wing. Has that happened often?

    Jeeesh, must be serious

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,982 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Ah Aguero is heartbroken. He's actually crying.

Going to be a really difficult game now. No idea why Pozo is preferred to Dzeko

Neville mentioned there they don't want to risk dzeko doing 85 mins after his calf strain and risk losing them both

Seeing that Aguero is crying tells me it's a cruciate ligaments....we're f*cked

Shreeves just said upper left thigh, cruciate ligaments are knee, so at least that's maybe some good news. Maybe hamstring though.

Mangala should be off, you can't do that.

Hopefully...if it is the knee and it is cruciate he's gone for the season without question. Hamstring maybe only a month or so.

Looked quite soft on first viewing

    How is that a penalty?!

The state of the refs in this game.

    Soft pen

    Coleman has been awful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,982 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

It's shoulder to shoulder. Dunno why players bother doing strength work. You can't touch a player any more.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

Extremely soft, but thank goodness for that

    Wow, how soft is that.

Nice one Yaya, time for you to really step up.

Marriner's going to be looking for a big Christmas present off City this year.

    Should be a 2nd red

Was that Barry doing the back heel that gave it away?

Never, ever a penalty. Even Milner didnt think so.

How is that not a red card for Fernando? Ridiculous.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    Another red card challenge there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23,495 ✭✭✭✭Billy86

Almost worth betting Everton get a (light) red card against them later on at this rate.

Everton can feel extremely hard done by so far.

Jean Claude Van Dam would have been proud of that kick....

We'll have no-one left for Roma...Silva, Kompany, Aguero, Toure, Jovetic all potentially missing :(

We're easily the best team for having our best players consistently injured. Holy f*ck no luck at all

United and City are even rivals on the physio bench

Maybe it's just my imagination but we rely heavily on about 4 players who are always injured, whereas United have way more injuries spread across the entire squad.

United have had awful luck as well but with regards to City I find it stunning how it's always our very best players who're consistently injured. Kompany-Yaya-Silva-Aguero is the spine of our team and it's rare these days that all four are fit at the same time.

    Milner is quality.
