So

I've sold my 01 xc70 2.4T. It has just 72k on the clock and fully loaded with a full service history. It was a smashing car but because I was only using it during the winter (have motorcycle for commuting) it seemed a shame to leave it lying up gathering moss.

So anyway onwards and upwards. I'm thinking of a number of cars. Because I do lowish miles each year (about 3-4000) I'm not too concerned about fuel economy.

Audi A4 Avant Quattro 1.8T. 2002-2005

Subaru Forester 2.0 XT. 2004 model on with leather

Subaru Wagon WRX Wagon blobeye

Subaru Legacy 2005 on. Either the turbo or the n/a one

Saab 9-3 Aero 5dr h/b. 2001/02. I had one of these a few years ago and always regretted selling it. However ones in good condition with low miles are hens teeth now.

Lastly a Range Rover L322 3.0TD. I have a small business and would be insuring this commercially. I'm aware of all the major issues such as steering column, brakes, gearbox and suspension so I'll be asking if these have been seen to.

I'm leaning towards the RR but am I going to get up every morning and regret buying one

Anyone got any real experiences (not pub talk) of ownership of any of these cars?
