I don't believe so, I started with 5k, I believe, currently, I have $74 in there and have had for 8 months with no charge.....

I have looked into these USD account services and all of them have some flaw. For example many don't have online banking and they very often charge a fee for transfers.

    Hi,

I too would like to open a dollar acc in Ireland. I work in Asia and am paid in $
I am currently with AIB. Any idea where I could find out their charge on incoming cash.. cant see anything about it on their website.

    Many thanks

I've looked into this a little also. Looking at exchange rates, AIB charge about 1.5% above the market rate and this is where they make their money. I believe they charge 15 EUR for any transfers out of the account with a limit of 5,000 USD per transfer.

I doubt you'd be charged anything on incoming cash as long as the cash and account are in the same currency. Use currency fair for conversions if taking the money out to use as EUR in Ireland
