This may seem like an outta the blue question but what's everyone's favourite journey snacks? I'm on my way back from Dublin on the train and I'm after having a kit Kat and a fanta(mainly because of me watching so much android reviews and learning the history of fanta pretty interesting if your bored)?

I travel a lot for work, lots of boring driving, and I like trail mix and pretzels for in the car because they make minimal mess.

I'm not really a fan, I'm yet to find chocolate raisins (or peanuts for that matter) that aren't coated in a layer of horrible, cheap-tasting chocolate :o

Also, I should add Brazil nuts to my list too! Only when I remember them when I'm in the shop though!

Ugh that sucks... I normally get them from this speciality store near where I live... Over priced but delicious. Pistachios are also nice just hard to find without shells...

Yes, often not cheap, but when you have a 4 hour car journey ahead of you it pays to have decent snacks with you!

My Dad used insist on having some biscuits in the car for long journeys - handy & convenient lickle snack to have in seat alongside when driving. He would always also sneak some kitkats & bananas into my car before I'd drive long trips; my Late Loving Dad was always doing lovely thoughtful things like that for me!

Still keep up that tradition of having some biscuits somewhere in the car; some kitkats & bananas for long trips and also some apples. I also Really enjoy munching on apples so I do when driving.

    Such a Random Travel-related thread,

Cant go wrong with any of them I'd imagine apples being troublesome late
At night/early morning with the crunch

Bananas, apples, chocolate covered raisins, and the raspberry muffins from Applegreen. Feckin' delish so they are, so they are.

I eat whatever I want when I am in my car. But when on a long, train/plane/bus journey, I make sure I never, ever eat anything majorly noisy or smelly. There is nothing worse than having to smell other people food for hours on end, or even worse...hear their crunch, crunch, crunch in my ear all the time. There is a special place in hell for people who bring noisy/smelly food onto public transport !:mad::mad:

Chicken and stuffing sandwich (preferably made by fresh ways) an ice cold itin of coke with a straw and a giant bag of jellies. Heaven.
