    Hey folks,

Looking at buying a van via private sale from wither WA or SA - also my first vehicle in Oz.

As I live in VIC I'll need to get the van registered/get plates with VicRoads I understand, right? One seller has told me I don't need to have a roadworthy certificate, but if I register it or transfer it to VIC I will need to get a roadworthy certificate right? Need to calculate the extra cost in that case.

    Cheers for any info
