Is the H.dip now included in Primary Teaching course?

    Since the course was extended from 3 years to 4,is the H.dip that was done after being qualified now included in the 4 years?.Some people are saying it is and some are saying that it isn't..?

    You don't do a H.Dip. after qualifying as a primary teacher. You complete probation, which is colloquially referred to as the Dip. Nothing to do with any actual diploma. It's an out-dated term to be honest.

    To answer what I think was your question - yes all teachers must still complete probation after qualifying, this has not been incorporated into the new 4-year B.Ed. course (or the 2-year PME course).
