    Hi
I wanna know about the differences between the Irish HL and OL syllabus annd what examiner are looking for.
I know I am able to do OL cuz I'm doing HL now but I'm planning to drop HL. I'm just wondering if i would need to write new essay for OL question - would I be able to use HL prose , essay answer for OL?

    Thanks in advance

    Same prose

    Same poetry

Same tape, but with easier questions.

You won't have to do an triail or whatever play ye were gonna do.

    It's basically the same course.

The difference between the two is ridiculous IMO.

I would advise anybody who can get a d3 in honours to do honours.

A d2 is worth the same points as an A in pass.

And it's almost impossible to get an a the way the oral is done

    Oh thank you :)
So basically they're the same but there's no studied play. I am able to manage a D in HL but I'm spending too much time on Irish and I dont have time to study my other subjects. I'm sure if I really should put a lot time on Irish. What's your opinion?

Depends on how many points you need?

Is there any chance you'll want to do a college course that requires irish?

    Like primary teaching?

If you drop to pass and don't put in work you'll probabaly get a c, which will be worth feck all points to you

    HI
I wanna ask a few question about OL irish, I hope i can get some answers cuz I'm thinkin of dropping to OL after this christmas.
Q1. How pages/ words required in Ol aiste ,sceal and Pros writing?
Q2. is there a big difference between OL oral and listening to HL?
Q3. I know both Ol and Hl does the same pros and Filiocht but what are the difference in the way questions are asked?
Q4. The extra thing HL does is An Triail and the Litriocht Breise for 2016 right?

    Thanks in advance
