Moonbow

I wa outside about 5 minutes ago and I saw a circular moon bow. I only had my phone on me but when I was about to take a photo I saw that it was actually a double moon bow !
Anyone else see it or has seen moon bows in the past . I presume they are not that uncommon .


By the time I had taken the photo it had kind of passed . Sorry for poor quality nerdgasm not even sure if it was a moonbow but it was awesome . Happy Friday.

It was the spectrum of colours which made be think it was like a rainbow . I have been mistaken .

It's an easy mistake to make. The only reason I know is because I've made it myself before!

It's really worth perusing that site to see all of the various things that water and ice droplets can do. There's a lot of subtle beauty out there that we don't realise until we go looking..
