16:9 photos in 18x10-ish

I'm having trouble finding a site that offers printing 16:9 photos in a manageable size. Everywhere I've looked offers either 4:3 or huge panoramic prints. Really strange given the ubiquity of widescreen devices...

    Any ideas?

eh couldn't you just upload to something like photobox, pick whatever size is closest to what you want, and shrink to fit (or whatever the equivalent is) ? Or if you're stuck with no options just bung a white border either side of the picture to bring it up to 16x12 or 4x3.

Then get handy with a scissors when the prints arrive.

Finally, tear your hair out when you discover that no-one sells frames that fit :D

I think it's because manufacturers are still insisting on making off-the-shelf frames in the old sizes, 10X8, 16X12, etc. There seems to be no sign of a move to wider proportions at all unfortunately.

Good idea, I see they have an option to print with white border so I can get them to fit without stretching or squishing or cropping and if needs be trim the white bits off.

16:9 is a video ratio. I wouldn't expect to see photo printing catering for this...
