Notice is hereby given that Tipperary County Council has made an Emergency Road Closure Order closing the following road:

Roads to be closed: R498 at Latteragh, Templederry, Nenagh.

Period of Closure: 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. from Monday 8th December to Friday 12th December 2014.

Alternative Routes: R498 north bound traffic divert at Currabaha Cross L2261, L2124, L2122, R497, R499 to re-join R498 at Ballinamona Cross.

R498 south bound traffic divert at Ballinamona Cross at R499, R497, L2122, L2124, L2261 to re-join R498 at Currabaha Cross.

Heavy Goods Vehicles are advised to use the R501 and N62 via Templemore and Roscrea as diversion routes.

The purpose of this closure is to facilitate emergency road repairs at Latteragh.
