UPC Remote wont work on bravia tv

    Hi All
    Having trouble to connect the UPC remote to operate a sony bravia
    The tv model is KDL40W605B
    The remote is this one in the video however the procedure does not work

    Also tried the procedure for tuning if you dont know the code this did not work either

    Frustrating part is there are 2 exactly same tv's in the house
    1 main UPC Horizon box 1 extra box
    The procedure for tuning the remote to tv and the code 2679 worked fine on the horizon remote but will not work on the same tv with the other upc remote
    which is different from the horizon one
    any tips hints much appreciated

    What type of other box have you?

    They use different codes, is it the dvr you use??? or the black hd box??

    U can look up the codes in the manual for the box

    there is another manual as well but cannot locate it on UPCs WEBSITE as its insane to find anything why they cant list it...

    The extra box is a black HD box going to try again tomorrow as its a friends house
    found this on the upc site will try these codes in the morning

    Just for future reference
    the box was a digital + made by cisco
    The code that worked in the end was 1681
    :)
