Can Anyone Suggest A Sale Price For My Laptop

I have an old laptop that I wanted to sell; but I have no idea what an old laptop would be worth. Can anyone who knows about these things give me an idea of what I've got.

    It's an HP Pavilion - dv7-1135nr
    The specs are here: (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=uk&lc=en&docname=c01550114)

It's a bigger 17" laptop, heavy too. Everything works as far as I know/never had a problem with it.

Is it even worth selling? I hate to just throw it away. Could anyone recommend where to sell it if it does have value?

Your link needs editing, it includes the ) on the end!
Not a bad spec for its age, still capable of doing what most people use a laptop for, but prob bigger and heavier than most want now. A quick look on ebay showed only parts for them, no complete ones, even faulty for parts. Possible from the era when many HP laptops had very bad cooling design and burned out. So, hard to say what its worth. I'd guess between 100-150 if the battery is still good, but you'd need to be lucky!

    Thank you for the response!

I ended up using it as more of a desktop - so I haven't tried running it on the battery in a long time. I'll give that a go first. Even if someone was willing to pay 50 - I'd much rather someone else have it than just throw it away/recycle it.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Very nice spec laptop in its day - about 6 years old, is it? I suspect you'd easily enough fetch €100 on adverts.ie if you have patience to deal with the masses of timewasters that live on that site :)

I'll happily give you €50 for it too if bonzo changes his mind, I can collect anytime in the Dublin area...
