    Hi there,

Can anyone recommend a hotel or holiday rental with a real fireplace and fire in the bedroom?

Yes I know there are many rental homes with fireplaces available but I'm looking for something special.

A romantic spot would be best.

We stayed in Castle Leslie in Co. Monaghan a few years ago, the castle rooms all have fireplaces. It was during the summer though so they were not lit. I guess you could ask about that though. It's a lovely place next to a lake and you can go for nice walks etc., really enjoyed it! Can be a bit pricey though.

Sheen Falls in Kenmare have fires in rooms (or used to anyway). It is fairly expensive though.

Not to be funny, but I thought that would be a fire hazard to have fires in people's rooms as hotel wouldn't know how careful people would be.
