Mineral bolus now or in January?

    Cows dried a few wks, dosing them today. Should I give them their bolus now, or wait til early january? Calving starting on feb 1st.

    60 days pre calving is what I'd do if was bolusing ,think it's to early to do March April calvers

    Yes most do but much better bang at first 60 days id say from 4/4.5 months on I'd say levels would be dropping.for pre calving you don't want any mineral deficiency issues .

    Good point mj, but too late when I read ur post, all cows boluses now! Might give the late calvers (april and may)another one in mid march.
