So the heating broke in my house, called landlord.Plumer came round the same day and fixed it.Now theres banging noises and thumping noises coming from the pipes in the wall?

Should I be concenerd about this ,could the boiler blow up?

Or is it all 'grand'

Phone the Landlord back and let him/her know what's happening. Let them call the plumber for advice.

Noisy pipes are not an easy fix and can be hard to find the source of the trouble.

My dad has just gone weeks trying to sort his out. Ended up being a pipe in the attic that had moved and was causing the noise all over the house.

Is there any pattern to when you hear the noises? Hot or cold taps running etc.
