Neff microwave door does not close fully

    Hi - our Neff microwave door is not closing fully. I have opened the microwave from the side and see the door is being held by springs. I was on the Neff spare parts websites and they sell these new springs for about a fiver each.

    Are these springs the sole responsible for keeping the door fully closed (ie if I replace the springs, will my problem be solved) ?

    When I close the door, the oven will work, however there is a gap and I can look through from the side. Is this safe to use ?

    The model is H5972N0GB/01
