My Daughter has a gap in her top two front teeth. She has braces on them about 4 months now on the top and bottom. Her bottom teeth have developed an gap between them which wasn't there before he braces where fit. Is this normal.

It's impossible to say without seeing your daughter in person.
But as a general rule, straightening teeth takes time. If your daughter is being treated by a registered specialist orthodontist, there should be little cause for concern.
You're paying for a service, there should be no issue with you enquiring re progress. Open communication beats silent suspicion! Often, practitioners have seen& treated hundreds& thousands of previous patients, and so mightn't mention/explain something (like a gap arising) that they themselves consider a normal part of treatment. Could be something simple& temporary, just ask.

A gap was opened purposely in mine to help the teeth move/make some space. That gap wasn't there before and I went back in for a tightening, dentist told me she was now going to close the gap and a week later it was gone. So in my experience, nothing at all to worry about.

A gap opened in my bottom teeth too. It was just due to the teeth moving around and finding space. The gap closed up in less than a month, I think.
