Is there a future life for a locked MacBook

    Just wondering if theres any hope for a mackbook that's been remotely locked, will a new hard drive it, can the chiniese fix it? Thanks

    the future is you have a stolen laptop .you need to bring it to the gaurds before they come to you and do you for receiving stolen goods

    On the evening of Tuesday May 31, two officers from the Oakland Police Department arrested the guy who had my laptop. The police used evidence I had gathered using Hidden (an email address which pointed to a cab service) that he was a driver and tricked him into picking them up.
    Later that evening the officers acquired my MacBook from his home.

    if genuine then an Apple Service provider should be able to sort it our for you.

    My issue is there going to charge me 100 just to look at it then God knows what after. Want to try see if I can sort it myself before I go to compub as my last resort

    no way around it I'm afraid. Apple locked out the capability a long time ago.

    done a fair bit with phones iPods etc there quite simple to use and i love playing around with the iPhone cause u cannot brick plug in to iTunes :P
