Penalty Points

    Hi,
    I received a penalty point notice for my car. The photo was only of my licence plate and I don't recall driving the car on the day in question. A friend has said he was driving the car at the time in question. My only concern is that he is an australian and I'm not sure if he was covered on my insurance. Can the points be transferred to him without insurance documents?
