    So I was called for an informal interview with these guys, in the interview the person who I talked to said they would be proceeding with getting me a formal interview to get the process rolling to hire me.
    Now, this is for me ideal job (it fits my experience and could be a stepping stone to go up in the company). So naturally I got very excited about this but this was a month ago now and I haven't heard a peep since.
    So what I am asking is has anyone been through the same thing, did you hear back? Should I contact them? What is the best course of action?

    It could be that they are incredibly busy, this would be their crazy period just before Christmas. I would ring up and ask them if it was me.
