I am looking in doing my Ag Science project for my leaving cert. The livestock I taken up is Dairy and I was wondering if anyone have an idea if Pallaskenry accept student visits, ask the farmer qs about the dairy, upbringing etc. ?
I would be willing to pay.

I called them up and they had their open day today but it was for people who were going to attend next year to the college. They told me they do not usually get in 1 person for a visit, it is usually a group, so she has to get back to me.

Gene still is the farm manager. Very approachable guy. Ring them . Keep us updated.

Derek O'Donoghue is the principle there now, he started this year after leaving Teagasc...

    Yup I got in :)
I am going to to tomorrow and I will be joining the farm visit with a group from Pallaskenry School.
They said it was quite strange to have only 1 person for a visit so they have to arrange something for me.
Called me the next day, Friday, saying that I can come at Tuesday.
Great bunch over there, so happy.
