Just saw this today, new customers only .''Today’s Groupon offers €9 voucher entitling new customers to a 12-month half-price subscription to Sky TV: Variety Pack with Sky Sports, Sky Movies, Sky HD and TV box sets, distributed by BSkyB, saving you €45.50 per month. €10 upfront payment required. Subscription fees apply.''

Very tempted but I never understand why we have to pay to get discount codes!

In the UK the code 5KYBET gives 50% off for 12 months for new customers, meanwhile in Ireland we must pay for the luxury!

Its a different offer from what they had a couple of months ago. If you click on the link I posted above and read down through a couple of other posts it will become clearer :)

Just been looking at this, it appears there is a €30 connection charge.

Cant see this mentioned anywhere in the Groupon advert.

I didnt notice any mention of a connection or setup fee but then again I only seen the document for a couple of minutes and was looking at the package prices more than anything else.

Did you see this offer on a flyer/sheet or elsewhere?

Sorry, i mean the groupon has a 30 euro connection fee that isnt mentioned in the groupon advert. No idea if its the same for Carphone.

    What a result!

Just checked this morning to see if the Groupon deal had fixed the installation fee, they had.

But even better I got the whole package for 35.50 per month!

    So for just

    €9 to Groupon,
    €10 to Sky

I get Sky Variety, Sky Sports, Sky movies and HD all for €35.50 per month for 12 months!
