Its the ANNUAL FABULOUS BOARDS LIVELINE COMPETITION time of the year again !!!

YAY you say!!! Ok you didn't because its actually the first time this has ever been done, but anyway, here goes.

Its the time when Joe asks his listeners to nominate the Highlight* and Low Point of the year. Over the next couple of weeks the nominations will start coming in.

So put your hand in your pockets, dig deep into your handbags, open up them wallets and lash a wad of notes on the table and put your money where your gobs are. Because winner takes all here !

    How to play:

Simply predict what you think will be the Highlight* and Low Point of 2014 as voted by the bored listeners to Liveline who actually text in to this lark.

The results will be announced on the programme on the 23rd of December.

    Rules:

Only make one prediction on each category and the tiebreak question to keep it simple. However, if your prediction doesn't make the final shortlist, go again and pick one from that.

You can make the same predictions as others but make sure your tiebreak answer differs from anyone else who made the same category predictions as you.

In the event that two or more people make the same winning predictions, the winner will be decided by a tiebreak question (below). Whoever gets the tiebreak question correct wins. If no one gets it spot on, whoever guesses the closest number above it claims the loot.

No entries accepted after 1.45pm on the 23rd December 2014.

The judge's decision is final and I'm the judge. tongue.png

Final rule - Don't go clogging up this thread with loads of shite talk, idle chit chat and other gibberish. Phone 1850 715 815 if you want to do that.
Just put a wedge of wonga on the table to enter and let rip, so to speak. pacman.gif

Tiebreak Question - How many times will Joe say the word 'Wonderful' during the programme on December 23rd ?

    My predictions are -

Highlight* - The President's State Visit to the UK.
Low Point - The Garth Brooks Fiasco.
    Tiebreak - 47

    Right, I'm in !

    BEST OF LUCK wink.png

    * In recent years the 'Highlight' of the year has resulted in some dubious winners relating to catholic church love ins and new popes. So if Joe fixes it for some Ecumenical Bible Week or Canonisation lark to satisfy his devotion to God for the third year running, the winner of this competition will be the one who chose the second placed Highlight. Because in all fairness, nobody could predict the nonsense he rigged to win it for the past two years.

You have a better chance of predicting both the euro millions and lotto numbers for this weekend then trying to predict anything to do with liveline.
