Med Car Alarm problem

    Hi, I have a Ford Focus with a Med alarm installed. It's operated using the car central locking fob. Over the past month or so the alarm would go off when I opened the door even though I had deactivated it. The deactivation beep does not sound but the lights flash and the doors open when this happens and I have to deactivate the alarm using the manual fob. But now since yesterday there is no sound from the siren on activation/deactivation or when the alarm goes off (I know the alarm is 'going off' because the hazards are flashing) and I have to disable using the little manual fob. Can anybody help please?

    ps I checked the wiring at the siren and it seems fine.
