Electricity connection to a new house

    Can anyone please advise the cost of electricity connection to a new house in a housing scheme? I understand as the house is being build the housing scheme all the wiring will be already there once the house is constructed.

    €1800 for a 12KW connection which is standard.

    €2500 for a 16kw connection if you expect to have a lot of electrical demand i.e. heatpump, induction cookers etc get advice.

    Pay in advance of course, its relatively painless afterwards when the actual connection happens.
