hi folks
First time on here.
I bought some land approx 60 acres - 40 of which are planted. but the remainder is grassy. i am wondering can i apply for entitlements for this to the national reserve or are they gone nearly. I was 39 at date of purchase and i dont have farming cert. I was told that four cattle would get me area aid also.

I think if you enrole in the green cert next year you will qualify as a young farmer and be eligable for the top up. But i am not full sure so just check with your local teagasc office.
