Operation Freeflow happening this year?

    Will Operation Freeflow be in operation this year again or has it been abandoned for good? I can see there being mayhem this year with the extra traffic on the road.

    Seems it was abandoned in 2011, probably as a result of no more new Gardaí going through Templemore but this has now changed.

    Judging by the traffic chaos on the blanchardstown bypass yesterday morning, yeah, it's happening as normal.

    Definitely in the last 3 months there is more people on the road and certainly on the N11 / M11. I wouldn't say 2007 levels, but my commute to the office has shot up by 15 mins since I returned to Ireland versus driving here in Sept.
