Has anyone tried Krav Maga for fitness? It looks fun but does it get you fit and active

I think it depends on where you do it.

Krav Maga seems to be a very variable style. Some places seem to teach it as a 12 week course where you learn to poke people in the eye. Others teach it as an on-going martial arts class where there is a significant fitness element.

Your best option is to go and just try the class and see if it is what you are looking for. Just don't sign up for a long term commitment until you are sure that it is right for you.
