I have a cotic soul with Fox fork. Frame is med and is super nice Reynolds 853 steel. I'm embarrassed to say it has seen very little use, frame could nearly pass for new. Price would be outside your budget. I'll have to try and take pics if you are interested

Will try and get pics after work tomorrow. I can't remember the spec, it's been sitting in the shed for over a year. I know the group set is a mix of shimano. Ball park price €800 but I will also firm this up tomorrow.

I've seen this bike in the flesh recently (I was almost allowed sit up on it!), you won't find a more well looked after bike anywhere.

I'll also vouch for Eamonnator keeping his bikes in pristine condition. It really is a lovely bike.

so far all beone & cotic are out of my budget. Though amazing value !
Its not so much a frame but i really need a shock & front disc wheel at a minimum. I have a trek 4500 bike that is v brakes on front and a frozen dead shock.

so either a budget hardtail or if anyone just had shock and front wheel at right price i'd be in business.

even a Tora fork would be base model i'd go for !

Not wanting to let lennymac or padjo5 down, I have spent the morning polishing the BeOne.
I have also installed a new bottom bracket and put on a little front mudguardy thingie. It also now has Crane Creek stubby bar ends on.

Go on, you know, you want to.

And my apologies to the O.P. for the hijack.
