    Dual Sim

I have been using this phone for the past week, and I have to say, you will not get a better smartphone for this price.

    THE GOOD:

-Includes free clear gel case & screen protector in the box!
-Excellent screen - bright, good colours & sharp text
    -Battery life is very good
-Great build quality, all plastic, but feels premium in the hand
    -Excellent 5mp front facing camera
    -Clear call quality
    -Loud rear speaker
-Smooth performance with 1GB RAM, graphic-intensive games (I tested the phone with Asphalt 8) & movies play without issue - very little, if any, frame dropping
-Dual Sim option is very handy to have
-3G data is very fast (based on my 48 SIM)

    THE BAD:
-Rear camera is only okay, good enough for the odd snap here and there
-Flash on the camera is not the brightest
-Internal storage is very small on first boot-up
-Touch buttons do not light up

Looks a great bargain bucket phone. Battery might be a bit limiting for some though.

I've been using it throughout the day for the last week, battery seems to be pretty good so far. Getting a full day / day and a half out of it with medium use.

Took about 2 and a half weeks to get to me, via PostNL.

Thanks.. at that price I'll take a punt. My S3 is in tatters after one too many drops. If it turns out to be naff, I know one or two people that will inherit it.

I was just about to post in the chinese phone thread for a recommendation for a couple of Christmas phones for the two Grannies. You saved me a job (and well below budget!)
    Thanks.

Is the 8gb a bit small. How much actual space is available or is it rooted so all apps could be stored on Sd card. Very tempted!!
What is the track record with Gear best and customs.?

Once you clear the few Chinese apps that are pre-installed, I had about 2-3gb. I can move any app to my SD card, so it must be rooted. I did not get caught for customs.

Would this be much of a step up from a Galaxy S3..

S3 would have a slightly better screen (720p AMOLED), other than that it is nearly the same.

I remember there is a Landvo L200 thread here. What I can see is these two phones are quite similar,so I do not really know which one would be better.Any recommendation?

Frequency of Cubot S168 include: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz WCDMA 850/2100MHz, guess it covered there

Tks for the post OP. If anyone is ordering note that the link is to the white version so make sure you change this before ordering if you want the black.

Sam mentioned earlier he avoided customs.

Clear bargain if you can get it without the customs charge.

If you got stung for customs, what would be the worst case scenario, euro wise.

It would add 20 euro through An Post, 30 if you used a courier

Not a bad phone but too big for me.

Anyone recommend a smaller half decent phone -I have the samsung galaxy ace GT 5830 piece of rubbish but find a lot of the better spec phones too big (and too expensive)?
