adding piers to support an old garden wall

as part of our bungalow renovation (for which we have pp) we removed some very old sheds which were build on top of the boundary wall.

now that the boundary wall is exposed it is not looking very robust - 9 courses of 9 inch blocks with no piers spanning about 13 meters built on the concrete shed floor.

our engineer has suggested adding 7 225 x 675mm piers at 1.8 meter intervals with 500mm foundations which i guess (no chance to talk to him yet) would be strapped to the existing wall.

we have wheelbarrow or mini-digger (once the foundation has set) access to the wall.

how much would this roughly costs in terms of labour/materials etc.?

i will ask our builder to quote but want some idea of the open market price.

    thanks for your help,

    slip
