Weekend in Liverpool

    Hi all,

    There are 4 of us going to Liverpool in January. I have never been, can anyone recommend some accommodation that is not a complete dive, and some of the best places to go? we went to newcastle not so long ago and just winged it. Terrible idea, stayed in a shack, and ended up in some dodgy nightclubs to say the least.

    So anything for Liverpool would be very much appreciated :)

    The Aachen hotel in the city center is your best bet. Its near all the nightlife and city center. Has a decent breakfast also and was renovated recently.

    Best bet for nightclubs is up woodstreet the whole street is dotted with them the baabar is good imo.
