I don't get it. Lynch succeeds in robbing the bank and sends the money out with an accomplice when he lets all the hostages go. Yet he has no option but surrender to the guards. He does so and they shoot him and his wife identifies his body. Then we see him on a motorcycle at the end. Someone please explain!

The body identified at the end with the face shot off it was not Lynch's body. It was the IRA man who looked like Lynch.

It wasn't him that was shot though. The morgue scene was a bit strange though. If what your asking though is how did he escape the bank then yeah that was a mystery alright but it is a film.

Yes that's another question. How did he escape?

Didn't they show him climbing from one roof to the other.

I didn't like that movie (nor The General) as I don't believe scumbags like Martin Cahill should be glamourised.

Awful, awful piece of film on so many levels. What was Kevin Spacey thinking? Maybe he wanted to do a "foreign" movie or something..

It is pretty awful, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Harmless, meaningless auld fluff. Some pretty neat set-pieces in it.

I was also highly amused by the fact that this was one of 2-time Academy Award winner Christoph Waltz's first English language films (he plays Peter, the art-dealer/Interpol agent).

Spacey's accent is awful in this.

It should have been called Darby O'Gill and the Criminal People.

Amongst the worse films from any Country I have ever seen, a complete joke.
