Hi all, does any of you or would you know of anyone with one of the old milk tanks on wheels that would be willing to sell it? Thinking of setting it up to cart milk around the yard.

y'ud definitely find one in farms which have given up the dairy work. its often the kinda thing u see lying around in the corner of a farmyard rusting away. i remember my brother putting together a makeshift one for his metalwork project at leaving. Just took an old car-trailer frame body and welded a frame - popped in four plastic barrels wit da lids and put in the tapds at da bottom. Worked grand (and he got an A in the leaving ;-) )

They're fierce handy though Dar! We use our old one for storing water for the veg patch, bringing home loads of bulk meal, drawing water to the shed if the pipes freeze. Neighbour borrows it to draw water to cattle in fields with no piped water!

It's also a great swimming tub for me in the hot weather

No doubt they are fierce handy. da yoke the brother setup was handy for watering da cattle, carrying milk around 2 calves etc. the quad pulled it. the tanker version better for the road ... and for swimming ;-)
