Just wondering, in comparsion to lowland sheep, what kgs do blackface ewe/ ram lambs kill out. I know you can take lowland lambs to 45-50kg and kill out at 22-23 kg. what's the story with the hill lambs ? Why weights would you comfortably take them to and is the same price per kg pid for them as the lowland sheep ? I'm thinking of buying a few for fattening.

surly depends on the quality of he lambs...ive seen scotch lambs to go to 44+kg hady enough....but mayo lambs would want to be exceptional quality to kill out at the 22kg IMO
