    https://steamcommunity.com/updates/broadcasting

Took a while but I can see why, its entirely in house it doesnt send to Twitch and only people watching can see it :D

I think this is a good idea but only for watching your mates play games not for making money.

It's kinda like the initial stated intentions behind the share button on the PS4, but that too integrated Twitch, and we saw the same with the XBox.

Streaming seems to be here to stay. I'm glad, I don't miss TV one bit and I'll just stick a Twitch stream on when I get home and I'm getting some grub or whatever.

Curious to see where this goes. Wonder if it's the sort of thing that'll get integrated into competitive CS:GO and DOTA?

Eh? It's integrated into everything. I watched my friend play ETS2 for example, last night just because.

What I meant was, will this be the method which we watch T.I.5 for example and will they move away for working with Twitch?

Doubt it, twitch get a hell of a lot of advertising money for them from their tournaments.

This is working with non steam games too. I just tried this with Battlefield 4 (Steam-->Games-->add a non steam game and select BF4 64 bit)

Looks good, also broadcasts serverside mic comms (as opposed to teamspeak etc) which is interesting. Wonder how much bandwidth it's costing though!

Actually, from reading the steam forums it currently broadcasts ALL windows sounds....

    Skype, TS/Vent, anything!
