    Hi There,

My 106's Heater Blower just stopped working.
It's heating fine, but no fan at any speed.

Just wondering if anyone has experience of this and any ideas of the fix?
I'm thinking it's the Heater blower motor, but not sure..

Same happened in my Renault last week. Got one in a breakers yard and fitted all for €30.

    Was it the blower motor?

Could be a failed motor or resistor.

Yeah, looking at Haynes manual it's a dash out job!
    Feck that...
If I had a shed I might give it a go, off to find a local mechanic me thinks...

Attached is a guide on how to remove the heater blower on a 106....Should be the same on a rhd...:)
When you remove the blower have alook for the resistor in the ducting where the fan fits into.

I have 08 toyota corolla the heater fan works well but the warm air going to the wind screen is very weak and takes a good while to clear from cold. I was wondering is this a fault with this model has anyone else found this.

Maybe the aircon gas has leaked out (thats if you have aircon).
Can you hear the fan running at high speed..?

No dont have air conditioning, ya fan works well could there be a pipe that has come away near wind screen only a guess.

Not to familiar with the 2008 toyota corolla's but if the pollen filter is clean and the fan is running at high speed then it does sound that there is a restriction somewhere or as you said a duct out of position...

Cheers, had a look, but the blower is in the same position, and the dash is opposite, so on mine it's behind the cluster, making it a lot bigger job than just dropping out the glovebox unfortunately.. :(
