Brush and Cream Advice

Hi,

I have recently just gotten into the world of proper shaving equipment. I have a DE razor and am looking to get a decent brush and cream and was looking for advice. My budget isn't that big maybe 30-40e.

I was looking at this on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Taylor-Old-Bond-Street-Sandalwood/dp/B00278HYC0 and was wondering if anyone would advise it or any alternatives?

I have ordered a shaving stand from aliexpress I got from another thread here.

Get yourself this brush and personally I would suggest any of the RazoRock soaps or creams. Pick a scent you think you wwill enjoy and you shouldn't regret it.

I got one of those brushes in black on Monday and it's excellent. Absolute bargain at the price it was at before going out of stock.

What is the scent of XXX like?

Not sure if you're still looking for a new brush wolfboy, but Shaving.ie have the brush back in stock, just in black.

Cheers. I got this one instead a while ago. http://www.shaving.ie/products/black-silvertip-special-ii.html

Only had my first shave with it today. Can I ask if the knot is supposed to come loose from the handle? Mine comes away easily enough and fell out when lathering with it on my face.

No that definitely sounds like a defect. Send shaving.ie an email and hopefully they will get it sorted out quickly for you.

Sent brush back and got new one with proper knot and blades and cream as extras. Excellent customer service from shaving.ie
