I see the local Halfords have a bit of a deal on at the minute on parking sensors.... the sensors are by a company called Veba.... Im looking at the rear parking sensors (AVPSS1) and theres not a whole lot of reviews online. Just wondering does anyone here have them, are they any good? Would you recommend?

My 2 cents...unless you get them professionally fitted with them sprayed the colour of the car they will look so bad that it would be easier to live with the odd collision than the permanent look of 4 black blobs on the back of the bumper.

I saw somewhere (don't remember where now) something different - a kind of tape to be put along the bumper, inside.

No drilling required, so no painting either.

I bought a cheap set from eBay the sensors came in different colours
it had both audible and visual indicator and came with drill bit. Was easy to install and wired to reversing lamp worked for 3 years I had the car possibly still working with new owner.
The advantage of eBay is the sensors or complete kit can be bought cheap. if something breaks.

Just found the same sensors on an Irish website

    parkingsensors.ie/veba-parking-sensors-with-audio.php

They seem legit enough then if both places are stocking them.

Quick question though. I see on that website you need to get the paint code of your car... where would I find that?

Depends on car. On a door frame sticker, plate in an engine bay etc. Google usually knows where exactly. :)
