Hi all, I'm sitting the F4 on Monday, have basically gone through the course guides, past exam papers, is there anything additional I could get quickly and cheaply? Just want to cover all my bases, has anyone got any tips for the F4 exam? I have course book and question book for F2 so I should be ok, it's a CBE anyway. Thanks

Did f4 a couple of years ago. Just keep going through the past papers over and over. Try to write out what you rhino the answer might be, rather than just reading the acca answer .

You shouldn't need any additional documents apart from past papers.

Perhaps have a look at open tuition to get a feel for tags topics they consider important.

Also read all technical articles and any videos / examiners comments on acca website

    Good luck

The paper has changed for this as of this month. The only sample paper that was provided is in the English variant and the exam appears to be much easier. I'm taking the option of doing it on CBE too but you can't do it in the Irish variant so I'm taking the ENG variant next Tuesday in London. 70% of the paper is now multiple choice.

@PabloEscobar, are you sure about this? The Irish variant has definitely changed? Can you please provide a link to this sample paper, bear in mind please I am sitting the paper version

100%. I don't have a link, but go onto Opentuition.com and register. It's free. Go to F4 and go to the ENG mock exam. They have a free version of Section A which is 70% of the exam. It's 45 multiple choice questions. Don't worry though it's far easier. It would be good to get used to it though.

Is that the UK one only? I'm doing the Irish variant though

As I said, they haven't released a sample paper for the Irish variant. There's only roughly 10% variance between the UK and Irish papers.
