Weekend/Night away Vouchers - Ireland

I am looking to get my parents and my brother (+wife) a weekend away voucher to a hotel in Ireland. I have looked at a few websites for hotels and they seem to be doing guest cards with a monetary value. With the exception of Mount Juliet.

I do not want them to know how much I paid for the pressie so I want to avoid this. Does anyone know of hotels (nice ones) that do a weekend voucher?

Yeah most places now tend to sell 'OPEN' vouchers where you put a value and the receiver can use said voucher towards accommodation, food&beverage & lesiure facilities within that hotel then, over & over until balance ends (normally within a 12-month period).

Another option would be for you to price some place(s) that you know they'd like to stay in and buy out a package deal they'd be selling & present that option to them then.
^^ The main downside to that though would be if they're unable to travel during that package-priced & paid for, then they may have to pay the extended balance should they wish to travel at a more expensive time for the hotel. Only slightly restricted. Still a nice option & nice chunk off the toal cost for the recipient though.

^ Or they could have a nice balance to use again if they stay during a price-range lower that what was paid for in the voucher.

    Hope that helps,
    Lovely idea by you,
