Should you use the Car Makers Genuine Flasher Unit

    My hazard lights stop flashing the odd time when i have them on and my indicators beginning to do it now ,

    Someone said you should use a genuine flasher unit ( Makers Choice)

    would that be right

    I'd be happy enough to fit one from a motor factor's. Are you sure it's the flasher unit and not a bad connection?

    it happened three times once with indicators and twice with hazard when i left them on they just stopped and even though i tried to put them back on nothing happened for ten minutes

    i would go with dealers as its designed for that car,factors are not great on these parts.
