just out of curiosity are 2 stage kerosene burners better that single stage ones ? - and which ones is the newest technology? - and why when a burner lights does it light with a bang? - why are they not designed to start of lighting with a small flame and then increase to full flame, it seems a very 'dirty and ruthless way' to light or is it to do with getting a mixture of kerosene and air to mix properly before it ignites ?
